Every year, UGC Heyendael invites their patients with a high risk of complications for a free flu vacciantion in the end of October or the begining of November. The flu is most prevalent in the Netherlands during the months of January and February. Even if you received the flu vaccination you can still get the flu. However, this will be significantly less fierce. If you are not part of the high risk group, but still want the flu vaccination you can indicate this to the doctor’s assistant. We will order and administer the vaccine which you can pick up at the pharmacy. You will have to pay for the vaccine yourself.
